Posting a picture using Image Shack! (quick and easy..)

Here is a quick how to post a picture using image shack.

1. go to imageshack.us
2. Browse to the location on your PC for the picture you want
3. Check the box that says resize image
4. Change the drop down box to say 640x480 (for message boards)
5. Click host it.

6. click on the thumbnail version of your picture

7. It will show your picture in full size then.
8. Right click with your mouse and go to properties

9. In Internet Explorer you will highlight the whole line that says address/url

10. The just paste that line in between two image tags like below:

Code: Select all: [img]http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/4816/iehm1.jpg[/img]

Thats it.. Your done and your image should be showing in your post..

Hi,

I have tried EVERY photo site out there and nothing is working on this forum. I belong to many and I have never had so much trouble.
I used the step by step process for image shack and the website doesn't even look the same as when that was posted. I resized my pic for the avatar to the exact pixels and it is still saying cannot upload. Do you think you can make this more user friendly? It seems like many people have problems with this site and uploading pics.
