Just watched the clip and it was interesting. Have to admit I thought it would be more complicated and advance. Seems like it would be impossible not to be approved. Reason for asking about it is because some people in our breed club suggest we adopt the CGC and use it instead of our MH test for being approved to use the litter announcement service of the club.

I'm proud of our MH test and think it says a lot more of the dog than the CGC and to be honest it would be a step back in evaluating our breeding material if the CGC took it's place. But as an addition to the MH, why not.

yes, the CGC is very easy. Though I have seen plenty of people fail it LOL It really is not testing the temperament of the dog IMO b/c many dogs can be trained to sit still for 5 seconds long enough for someone to run a brush over them or pat them on the head. It's really more of a test of basic obedience that one might need just to demonstrate having a good companion that can walk through a crowd of people and that the dog knows basic commands.
